Hardware How can I tell if my DVD burner will burn DL discs?

I want to burn a dual layer disc on my laptop's DVD burner, but I don't know if it can do that. It can read Blu-ray discs and the computer is a year old if that helps.

Yes it should be able too but if you want to check download link below Nero info tool unzip it run it and you should get something like this

red means no and green yes as you can see my shit drive can burn them see the -R DL and +R DL

Easiest way - look at the front of the drive draw, if you see a little logo that says "DL" underneath it your drive will burn dual layer.
