I would like to port an application to the 3DS, it's a portable version, so all the files are by default installed in a .zip file. Is there an easy way to port it to the 3DS? It's a lightweight but slightly complex application, it's a game engine but it includes a game launcher for games created with that engine and it uses a run.exe file, the game itself and the launcher. You play the game by uploading it to the launcher and starting it thanks to the run.exe file.

No offence, but the fact that you even ask this questions means you do not have the skills to convert it.

Short answer to help you out: Most likely not
at least they aren't one of those guys who just ebegs for people to port X game for them, that's progress.

OP, it sounds like you're describing something similar to ScummVM, so what you're gonna want to do is reverse engineer the engine and then once you have all that logic and stuff implemented on the 3ds the rest should just work, since inside the launcher and run.exe will be an interpreter for a scripting language that you just rewrote the emulator for.

That Dell data breach is worse than people probably realize....

When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
