Homebrew Help with making a custom theme

Hey I've been really trying to make a custom theme been following (http://gbatemp.net/forums/3ds-homebrew-development-and-emulators.275/create-thread) but It won't install it and then when I loaded it its glitched. I've tried many times now and am looking for some help.

you need to save the images as pngs and use
YATA-PLUS
to create it

I typically use Usagi theme editor. You will also need Howling Theme Tool
