Hi Guys/Gals,

I've managed to extract the base NSO N64 app and see how MondoMega managed to find all the title ids for some of the 38 N64 games being released.

I noticed no once has bothered to update his spreadsheet now we know GoldenEye and other games are coming it should be easy to fill in the black spots.

So far the list I have is

1 1080 Snowbording
2 Banjo-Kazooie
3 ?
4 ?
5 ?
6 ?
7 Dr. Mario 64
8 Excite Bike 64
9 F-Zero X
10 GoldenEye 007
11 Kirby 64
12 Mario Golf
13 Mario Kart 64
14 Mario Party
15 Mario Party 2
16 Mario Party 3
17 Mario Tennis
18 ?
19 Paper Mario
20 ?
21 Pilot Wings 64
22 Pokémon Puzzle League
23 Pokemon Snap
24 Pokemon Stadium
25 Pokemon Stadium 2
26 ?
27 ?
28 ?
29 Sin and Punishment
30 Star Fox 64
31 Super Mario 64
32 Super Smash Bros*
33 WaveRace 64
34 Winback
35 ?
36 Yoshi Story
37 Zelda Majroas Mask
38 Zelda Ocarina of Time

I would like to see what the recent games title numbers are so we can update the list and lock these games into the spots

So far i managed to extract the base N64 app and its pretty simple, title folder with all games inside.

But the latest update I have only got the 460mb NCA file extracted but I can not figure out how to get the title key and extract the files from the NCA file?

Can anyone help me with this?

Cheers

Have attached MondoMegas image of his spreadsheet from 2021

Thanks!

Have you tried the Nxdumper homebrew?
I use it to insert more roms when a new NSO update comes out.

Need: Sd/Switch/prod.keys
Got all that, was something to do with DMZ files.

Already have retroarch so didnt worry about it.

Hopefully someone can explain how to extract the files from the NCA file in the update so we can find out the title ids for each new game

okay ive done this... finally

And Nintendo changed the numbers no longer do they start with a 3...

This likely spells trouble for GBA etc as the first number was believed to be for a console type!

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
