FYI, it works using CN as the entrypoint too! I'm amazed this works since the base system doesn't have the 9.6 encryption, but now the emuNAND does. Either way, cheers to GW!

If it still happens for you, you need to remove and then re-install the MSET exploit. It was a hit or miss thing for everyone but some users said after removing/re-adding a few times the bug would go away.

I just launched gateway 3ds using the mset exploit again, and yeah I didn't need to close and open the lid.
I never noticed this before, I was using mset up until GW.3dsx.

Ive just done the same thing, I installed menuhax and made it so auto boots into gateway emunand - problem is it makes your boot take much longer (plus you see all the glitchy verbose screens). In the end I just prefer to boot via the DS profile as its neater (yes I know it technically takes longer) but it's more elegant haha

but, wouldn't that make you unable to play any DS game ?

Just checking. Sysnand on 9.0, GW emunand still 9.0. Have the MSET exploit installed to boot emunand from DS profile but NO other custom stuff/no CFW.
I want to update emunand to 10.3 like everyone else.

I made 3 fake network connections in sysnand, and one real one in emunand.
After backing up the emunand, can I just update by clicking the "system update" in the emunand system and all should be fine?
Will my installed CIAs be wiped out or anything or is this emunand update as simple as it sounds?

did dl the 10.3-28E (new3ds) with 3dsnus and installed them with BBM on my 9.5 emunand..
everything seems to work fine, but I tried to lauch the eshop but I asked to do a system update, what gives? should I just did it?

Yes, but only through the settings. Updating through eshop actually update your sysnand.

No, maybe there is one (or more) missing title in the cia pack you downloaded. It's better to use the system settings when you can anyway.

You don"t have to restore anything, just boot into your emunand, go to the system settings and update it.

i can also confirm 10.2 workign my 3ds had downloadd an old update, when i update it went to 10.2 1st, then i had to update to 10.3
but that may have been on my old 3ds xl i forgot i had to update 4 systems and it like 5 am

Why did use need to use BBM? Couldn't you just update with the System Update button in settings menu?

I can do search for signed numbers, but can't do any search for unsigned numbers.
