Hacking Found Wii files in RE4 360

Just thought this was interesting. Wouldn't this be illegal though? And pointless?

Looks like its probably the textures for the health and safety screens etc. from the Wii version. Legality probably depends on how they are licensed to developers, but I doubt Nintendo will turn around and sue them or anything. However they clearly serve no purpose in being there, just must have made their way into the disc by accident.

RE4 HD is kinda like halo annual. It's a port of the old game with new textures running on top of the old ones. Unlike Halo-A though, there isn't an option to crash the new and force the old ones to run as a backup. This kinda thing you used to find in first releases of the pc ports for sonic.

Yes, but it was a Japanese ROM, even on American discs!

He probably got the disc shipped to him early. Allot of the times companies ship games out early so that they come to people close to release date. If the postal service is good enough you can get games 7 days earlier then usual.
