According to the R4iSDHC homepage:

http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/

"Important: R4i-sdhc 3DS support 3DS V3.0 perfectly"

Er, ok... but there is no new firmware to download! But hopefully this means it is on the way.

So i am the unlucky one. Maybe its good idea to add some new info into the topic?
saddly yes
i have added info to front page about your issue
hopefully they will sort it soon as there is a topic on supercard about some people having issues and others not
Hey, buddy! I just reupdated my dsone with file from this page http://eng.supercard...lution/znsj.htm . Now my 3DS thinks that is the SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES instead of CHESSMASTER, but most importantly now its working again! So you can update info again.

thanks

yes i did the upgrade ages ago and it worked on version 2.2.0-4 (did it through Mario Kart)

if i try to do the upgrade again (on a DSL) then the start button is not there which i assume is correct as there is no upgrade

but as soon as i upgraded to the new 3 firmware it gives an error

its just that someone else reported that it was blocked as well so i assumed that it was
i take it then that yours works ok ?

Thanks

I don't even show the option to upgrade with the r4i-sdhc 3DS. It just gives my current version in the top box and there's no start button available!? I wish for this to get sorted out or someone gives info on how they got it to upgrade to 3.0.0-5. Thank you if you do.

Update: I just tested the card on a DSi 1.4.3 (no update option), DSi XL 1.4.1 (no update option), and a 3DS 3.0.0-5 (no update option) Time 8:30 a.m. CST (-6)

I know a lot are asking/confirming which cards work - but here's a question....as quoted in first post
meet new Miis through wi-fi, as opposed to passing them
so with 'Spotpass Mii's' - How do we receive them ??

Do we have to play a [3DS] game online with 'friends' to get them (e.g mario kart),
Have FC in our list & get them if/when they switch on their 3DS the same time as you,
or
Will we just receive a random Mii when walking around & passing any [unlocked] WiFi routers ??

I think people are still trying to figure this out.
Hopefully when those details are confirmed he'll just clarify in the first post, or link to the info.
I've not received the Miis of my distant 3DS friends so far (even when we were online simultaneously), but I dont have any multiplayer games yet to test that first idea of yours. Even though I've definitely enabled Spotpass in Mii Plaza on both of my 3DS units, I'm still only seeing streetpass Miis. I'm sure by the time I notice something different happening, others will have already figured it out and commented about it though.

My r4i-sdhc 3DS still don't play on 3.0.0-5 Pong and I did the 1.47b update to 1.48b through wifi. Then I tried to update again but there is no option. I think the "U" firmware might need an update?

Same here, for me r4i-sdhc does NOT work on 3.0 and does not display an update when plugged into a DSL. Latest 1.48b firmware.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh Yea I recall my PS3 can do that

    Modded ofc

Speaking of my PS3 i havent downloaded any games yet bc my wifi is too slow
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and also because blackouts here are very common and that could damage the console
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
Do you have a surge protector or an UPS?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea but to play the next gen games, you must have those games on internal, or buy the official ssd expansion cards, which are expensive
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, dunno what each one of those are
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, my PS3 was already modded when my dad bought it for me and my brother
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh i recall seeing one in some in the houses of some relatives, including my dad's apartment
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, although whatever device we plug into them stops getting power anyways lol

    that's weird

On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.
