May have figured why some people had lockups black screens on PSP when return to title make sure you do not have force High memory layout on it will black every time

Best working so far is without cach enabled as another said loading is even faster on both my models including my 3001 3g so I recommend to do this because it will save memory for the game without using for background loading

and FYI for those that wonder the old looking Brown movies are suppose to be skippy a little that is the look of old they tried to impart

Hmmm no matter what I do the videos keep stuttering.
I've tried different firmwares (including B10) and ISOs and I get the same result each time.
Maybe it's my settings or is it my PSP?

Is anyone else having it stick on cutscenes with it at a black screen? You can still skip the cutscene to get back into the game though. Is this like with kingdom hearts final mix translation where at bits you hat to press circle to get by?

For anyone on ppsspp who wants to use multiplayer I've decided to use my pc as a server for the next 3 days so everyone can try out the multiplayer. I made a guide before the patch but since I'll be the server you guys only need to just follow the regular tunngle+ppsspp steps and just play story mode with users or join someone else game. I don't usaully ever turn off my pc so I wont mind leaving tunngle and server on. I'm in PPSSPP Emulator room on tunngle. Just hover over my name and you'll get my ip address. Its the same name I use here.

Link to guide if you need it.

wtf, it wont let me download the patch. it tells me the browser i'm using is incompatible, and tells me to update to the browser i'm already using. is there any way the patch can be mirrored somewhere?

Hmm. I get a black screen after selecting new game, but I can choose to 'skip' the cutscene, and it takes me into the game itself. I am guessing I'm missing something there.

I'm running on ancient CFW. m33-6.39. Can I just jump straight to 6.60 B10?

If I'm not mistaken you have to upgrade to OFW 6.60, then apply the CFW/LCFW PRO on it

After the patch, the files sizes on my system grew to 2.86 GB per disk. Is that expected? My attempt as CSO compression also failed.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
