My sister loves Kid Icarus: Uprising, but she only has a GBA, so I was thinking of getting her the Famicom mini version of the first game, which was only released in Japan. However, despite my googling, I can't find out whether it has English or Japanese text. I ask because I know that the Japanese version of the original Super Mario Bros. had English text in the Japanese version. Can anyone answer this question for me?

Had a look at the game myself just now and while there are some smaller texts in English the rest appears to be in Japanese.

Having skimmed through a gameplay video of the whole game there doesn't appear to be all that much text to speak of. Most of it should be guessable/obvious enough and only the last ending scene appears to have slightly more text.

Just slap a NES cartridge in and you're done. You can even connect it to a TV and play with wireless controllers as well as the lightgun. It's the closest you can get to a portable NES without resorting to emulators, althought a PSP with custom firmware might be the more cost-effective option.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I'm honestly not looking for a portable NES or anything like that. Just an official way to play a particular NES game on a GBA (which there is). Thanks, though.
