Hacking DSTWO just got one, have a few questions.

I got m DSTWO, and so far so good.. Just a couple questions. It doesn't fit my Dslite like it does my 3ds. Its really tight in the Ds Lite and I have to really pull it to get it out. It fits great on the 3ds. Is that normal?

Also, how do you access the real time save and cheats? Is there a hot key? You can do it when you are in the game right? How do you load the cheat files too...Do I have to manually do that or it's preinstalled in the firmware? Thanks.

Yeah That's Normal For It To Be Tight.To Acces Real Time Saves And Cheats While In Game Press L+R+Start.It Should Be Preinstalled.

L+R+Start for the full Real time menu or L+R+Select for the Real Time menu without Real Time Saves.

Just tested one out on a DS Lite and DSi and I can confirm it's tighter in the DS Lite. It's still slightly tighter in the DSi compared to other cards but not to the point where inserting / taking out gets difficult.

Also I am accessing the real time menu, and the real time saves works fantastic. Man I wish we always had that option.

However, I am trying to access the cheats and nothing shows up. There really is nothing I need to do? Do I need to put the cheat database some where? I am confused. thanks.

just follow this link below, i asked the same question and terminator was kind enough to answer my question. I believe it is post# 27, he has a link to downloading the cheats and tells you what file to put it on. I just don't know how to do the quote from one thread to another.

It was an unbelievable experience once you get all the cheats. I played CONTRA, i was speechless. I couldn't get passed the first round before, but with the cheats i got very far. I am not done yet, i saved it for tommorow to finish off the game.

Place the usrcheat.dat in the _dstwo folder.

there is no difference that the supercard DSTwo work on DSL and DSi, both are tight ...

I agree with this - there are no fake DSTWOs to my knowledge and it's part of my job to try and hunt around for them! If they exist somewhere, let everyone know so we can avoid them.
