ROM Hack DS ROMs 101 help needed. a ROM website with working ROMs.

hey ppl, i just got me a R4i gold 3DS and i need a website with actual working roms.
Ive just recently updated my 3DS (the big update with 3D video ect) and i need to know if my cart
requires an update for the cart to work. This is my first time dealing with ROMs so im a complete noob.
I really need help ppl, i really appriciate it if someone would help me out.

Basically id like to play pokemon heart gold
