DrSMS is a Sega Master System and GameGear Emulator that will allow you to play all of the old Sega 8-bit classics on your Gameboy Advance.
Visit the official site here
Version 4 was released on October 18th.

List of changes, quoting from the official site:
-> Support for SMS SRAM
-> Compressed Save States (huffman "slow as shit" compression)
-> More Bug fixes
-> Cleaned up sprite routines, removed support for Alien3 as it caused alot of problems with loads of other games. The need of the many outweigh the needs of the few...and all that
-> Removed buffered palette writes, so Space Harrier is now flickery again, but James Pond now has its parrallex scrolling again.
-> Removed Game Gear Mask toggle
-> Fixed a major bug in the memory paging routines
-> Added support for Star Trek Game Gear Games, there still not perfect but getting there.
-> Improved the sound routines

Good one!

For Emulator:
This is damn good guys. I tried to convert a couple games and it was excellent (speed, sound, etc...)

Only 1 out of a few games I tested on didn't seem to work though. I mean it converted ok giving no problem/error but after I hit Start all I saw was a black screen (maybe this game I converted is not a 8bit game, I don't know (can't tell :-p)

Overall, this is good

can you list some of the best gamegear games for me?

I am a big fan of strategy and simulation games. Were there any games such as the "Sim" series like Sim Ant or Sim City on Game Gear? I am embarassed to say I owned one but I only had a few games like Ecco and Police. I was a bigger fan of my pea-green colored gameboy

very good emulator this is. had one version or another of this emulator on my f2a for months now. Very good, completely working save states, perfect frame rates, very good sound. Id say it was probably the best emulator on the GBA apart from pocketnes.

Some cracking games available too!! If you download this try to get hold of the following:

Wonderboy 3 : Dragons Trap
Wonderboy In Monsterland
Casino Games
Penguin Land
Fantasy Zone 2
Phantasy Star (I know its on GBA already but master system version is EXACTLY the same but only weighs in a 512kbs)
Golfmania
R-Type
Sonic 1 & 2

To name but a few!!

The game gear version of Ninja Gaiden was awesome, it was like the arcade version. As far as RPG's go, there was this game called Defender of Oasis that was good. There were also a couple Shining Forces released for it, but only one in english as far as I know.

    I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
