UPDATE: I finally figured out how to locate my character and edit their equipment. Huge thanks to LoCSP for beginning the project, and Frezzno for keeping the fire burning. It took me a while, but I have a better grasp on how this works now due to the example Frezzno gave us on the first page.


So far I managed to get 1 slot for character 8 (I think it's 8 on the registry. I'll double check).

OMG...... that link is glorious.. If you are a wiz or sor, it will stock your normal max if you choose the spell with your name. Otherwise, you can max out at 100 if it says (non). Non-spellcasters can also use the (non) spells, but they will be at level 1.

edit: are the spells patched now? I wasn't able to get any to work. I guess I will try the runes tonight. I spent an hour or so trying to get it to work and no luck. I can't really tell if i'm doing it right since There's not real explanation on how to add everything. I'm not sure what it is i'm supposed to be changing or if i'm doin anything right. its just so different from adding simple offsets or the find/replace hex editing i'm used too. oh welll... If the runes work tonight, I'll try to help a few people for about a week if they need help.
i've seen some people with create food (and it didn't actually work) but I have seen people use runes no problem! So i'm trying the runes tonight. Later!

Thanks for these forum posts, I made a new character and completely put insane weapon stats on him so that he is BEAST MODE! The game is still fun because now I can help people beat the heck out of monsters and stuff

The only problem and I have a few hypothesis are the immunities, like having 4 immunities on one item. I tried to do that Character 1 Equipment 4 and it deleted the item so something is up with my code or something haha

EDIT: It seems that my Character 1 Equipment 4 slot always deletes whatever Item I mod, as I checked by putting 3 belts (Equipment 2,3,5) and all the same mods I put on Equipment 4 stuck except it didn't delete them.

Also, is there a cheat in BSD for making every item 1-5 have 8 item slots? I saw one posted for 'Character 1 Equipment 1" 8 slots, is there a mass one for all 6 characters/5 bags each? That would be supremely helpful, I suck at code and again thank the people who figured this stuff out!

The 8 slot save patcher you're looking for is found in post one of this thread o.o
Also about those affixes you've found, I haven't gotten anything to work. I haven't tried the runes though. I really didn't see any point in adding runes in my bag.

Yeah after all this time no luck in editing potions lol... anyone got any idea how to properly hex edit the items? I tried find & replace the items with HxD also tried entering the write at.... code...
nothing seems to work.

Oh yeah um if you see that post on shoryuken, as you can see many yellow affixes can not be paired to be paired together. its really no rhyme or rythm too it. it depends on what item it is. too. like you can have 3 yellow affixxes on some earrings and some earrrings you can only have one yellow affix. and yeah.. some weapons are like that too. its kind of really random. I usually use the 50% ring magic affix and carry a worshiper ring instead of having to use the yellow affixes that restore HP and/or hp recovery affect. saves me some slots. and kind of makes the game fun for me since i can still die. LOL. god mode gets boring after a while. i don't know about you.

hmm somehow I can edit the item stats fine (overall with some difficulties now and then), but the 255 attack or defense don't work for me. I'm lost at how to edit it manually ; v ;

Hey guys, quick question.

My game is NA region, and on the latest patch. I remember earlier on finding a code that gave characters max bag slots, like as if I had invested all the way into Deep Pockets, but had not spent any skill points.

Does anyone have that code? It would be a lifesaver for me. Please, and thank you (if it still works/exists).

If you can't find your character, it's probably because when you create your characters, it is done by order of creation , basically, if you have made more than 6 characters, EVEN if you deleted some characters, it will only find the ORIGINAL first six characters that you created, and not the ones you replaced. If that makes sense

Solution: What I did was erase all my characters and started from scratch, and then it all worked fine.

Hi all, I'm new to this. Therefore completely useless it seems. The "tutorial" on the original post only gets me so far, then I'm left scratching my head.

Things like "how do you search for values you want to edit?"... Apparently these things must be common knowledge as they aren't explained.

If anyone has the time to give me a detailed, step-by-step tutorial on how to do this, I'd very much appreciate it. I've basically got as far as uploading my save to Bruteforce and I've successfully used the "cheats" section to use the preset codes, but I'd like to know how to search for and edit values, knowing EXACTLY what to press in the menus.

I'm not a PC noob, so you don't need to explain everything. But saying "search for 1000A648" means nothing to me without some guidance.

In this case my character is Sebas is in the right and the offset is in the left, some times my offset its no match but the codes still working, just make a search of your characters name and follows the steps of the first page posts

Hello Gents,
Love all the info here. I've been having a lot of fun with it all but I ran into one hiccup I can't seem to figure out.

The following two codes seem to cause my gear to disappear. Essentially, character 1 item 4 poofs and character 4 item 3 poofs. I have the same codes on other characters and they work fine. Does anyone with a trained eye see anything off?

Does anybody have a code to make all weapons and gear for characters 1-6 have 8 attribute slots ?
