Hacking Does 3ds.guide link to bad zip files? (Nope! / Issac)

so i get this error for both the safea9lhinstaller and the luma3ds. all other zip files work fine.
this doesnt make me trust this "guide"

winrar handles 7z. i unpacked the arm9loader.7z file just fine

I edited my original post once I seen you were using winRAR. Look at what I said again.

I just downloaded and extracted fine, download again, use another pc, use 7zip. User error...

Worked for me on my mom's PC which has WinRAR installed. Maybe you just got a one off problem? Redownload and try again.

- download the file again, try to extract it again...

or did you just try it once, got an error and opened up a new thread accusing the guide links to corrupted files?

Why exactly do you think "Unknown method" means "FILE IS CORRUPTED!!! ZOMG"?

The Luma3DS 7z archive is compressed using LZMA2, which your version of WinRAR doesn't support. The current version (5.4) seems to support LZMA2. (Not sure when it was added.)

EDIT: Based on your post history, I'm inclined to believe you intentionally installed an old version of WinRAR just to whine about https://3ds.guide/ because you wasted your money on a 3DS flashcard.

personally, i use IZArc. I feel its much better than winrar or 7zip

I tried like 5 times. The other 7z file opened fine. Doesn't make sense. I did download 7z and it worked. Thanks. Im terrified of this

I already did as GerbilSoft and looked into what you have been posting recently.... It's obvious what you're doing, even to a blind person. GitHub does not host files that are corrupted, deal with it. Let it be now, or you will be punished for it.

Make sure its the full uninterrupted download, with the latest version of 7zip. Its one of the best out there
