Just use google.
That never helps when you don't tell people what to search for, you know.

If they can't figure out what to google, then actually running the game would be quite the challenge for someone of their intelligence.

Oh god please, I hope it gets shut down. The mods, admins and 99.9% of the members can't spell, think for themselves or even help each other.

edit: what xist said

Not to mention, their site is riddled with trojans, and if you don't have Adblock Plus, and a strong antivirus, youre just asking to be part of a botnet.

Sadly, that speaks truths for the majority of the PSP community. Full of dumbass kids who make tons of fake exploits and videos and all sorts of other crap. And people bitching, the constant bitching and moaning for people to hack something or fix something. PSPs just so easy to hack...

Here's some more clues...

1) Average user IQ is in single digits.
2) Grammar is a punishable offence.
3) Idiots think reputation points matter.
4) Lots of content stolen from anywhere they can get it.

All of that is true but it doesn't change the fact that you can find almost anything psp related you're looking for there. At the least, it's a gathering spot for every version of a game you could possibly find as well as a good resource for converted psx games and so on. I can't stand the community but they do have a large selection.

To be fair a lot of content was stolen from it, Ys Seven and BbS, for example.
At least someone got me a working gba emulator there

. I will miss it if it's shut down forever.

GameFAQs?

QFT. "The Site" has to be one of the forums i am most active on, have about 1500 posts there and only have been in trouble once (And it was due to a flame war with some idiot who kept starting crap with me).

Gamefaq's is the worst message board i have ever used

I beg to disagree...Gamefaqs is infinitely preferable to that dead end of idiots that "the site" represents. For every one decent user there's about 100 idiots there. Gamefaqs has pretty clear rules and it's not hard to avoid moderation, and it possesses an immense scope...if you have an issue with a game then it ends on their Game boards. Sure the system boards may be moderated heavily, and some mods may be questionable, but that's because of the CNet association where no mention of anything even slightly shady can be made. If i had to make a choice which i'd see gone it'd be that festering pit of "the site" in a heartbeat. Hell i haven't even visited the place more than once or twice in a couple of years but i bet it's worse now than ever.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
