Gaming Destiny and Online Questions

I am thinking about picking up the Destiny Collection today for PS4 and have a few questions:

- Is a PSN subscription required for multiplayer and online?
- If yes to above, can I get prepaid PSN cards? What prices and length do they come in?
- How/where can I find out if I have PSN service activated? I went to my account on PS store on website, but couldnt find anything related to that...

-yes for all multiplayer you need ps plus
-pre paid cards are for 1y access
-there is a yellow ps plus icon in the icon bar above your ps4 main menu that will confirm activation, or ask you to sign up if not
