Gaming Decent PSP games under 175 megs.

i had a harder time finding a non ripped version than one that wasn't.

i found it more difficult to find a complete eboot.

bgm is ripped, along with speech. the sound effects are still there tho iirc

It's on the PSN....

And a rip which removes the entire soundtrack makes SOTN much less enjoyable...

Now that I think about it this thread is pretty pointless, almost every good game under that size is alredy posted, the only other options are rips and that only adds so many to the list.

you can save between 30 and 200 meg by ripping the boot.bin & update folder from the iso,
pinball fantasy's is listed here as 50meg,
if you remove the junk and cso to level1 it's about 6meg!

I was considering adding a little guide on using CISO to remove the update folder and such, but that doesn't really help people that just have low/limited net speed.

Just what I had on mem stick and comp. I think a lot of PSX games would fit the size limit. You could probably get FFV and Chrono Trigger as well, but I didn't have those at hand.

Sonic Rivals 1 and 2 are both on sale for %30 off last time I checked. Or, you can buy the bundle %50 off. I heard they weren't amazing games, but for downloadable UMD games, they're pretty cheap.
Not sure about the size though because I don't have my PSP with me.

Sonic rivals 2 is about 230 megs, so no go.

This thread is also meant to be helpful for people who want to collect games for when they'll be away from their computer for a whilr, like off on a trip.

Harvest Moon Hero Of Leaf Valley. My CSO is only about 130MB, well worth it.
Fat Princess Fistful of Cake is also only about 130MB, although I'm not sure if mine is a good file as I cannot access the story mode, only freeplay.
Wipeout Pulse is about 200MB for me, but it could probably be compressed more.
Prinny Can I Really Be The Hero is about 280MB, but again I don't compress stuff myself so that's subject to change
Parodius (PSX) is about 200MB
Legend of Legaia (PSX) is less than 200MB

Fat Princess seems to be 250-300 megs as an ISO, I'll wait for anybody that mentions you can get story mode with a premade CSO (and it's filesize) before adding it.

Doesn't seem WipeOut Pulse can be brought under 200 megs without problems.

Prinny is about 290 megs as a CSO.

Not sure on Parodius, as the SNES version works just fine in an emulator for much, much less space.

Legaia's ~280MB total, though it's a two-disc game and you only play one at a time... but I won't add it unless I can get confirmation there's an easy way to get a two-disc version of it already converted (as the unconverted discs are over 400 megs).
