I have an old 40 gig phat that has just adapted some strange habits.
When the ps3 is unplugged (or the power switch in the back is off), and then given power, the red power LED comes on for about 1 second, and then goes out. About 5 seconds later, the green light comes on.
Once the green light comes on, it's solid for about 10 seconds, and then the blue blu-ray LED flashes, and I can hear the disc drive engaging. The blue light flashes for about 5 seconds, and then it goes out, and the green LED turns to blinking red.
Has anyone encoutered such a thing before?
