EDIT: Emuconnie's dat file says that the patch is for M4's LostMagic dump. I used a different one. Could this be the problem?

On the lack of any trainers for a long time: I'm not sure if there is really a need for releasing them anymore since many of the slot 1 carts have cheat support. I haven't really had the time to work on it recently but I am going to try to write an updated tutorial for IRQ hooking, code, etc.

@shawnieboy: I'm not going to release a trainer for Pogo Island since the tokens can be used online for winning prizes. This is the same reason why you won't find codes online for the game. Noone wants to get a lawsuit over cheat codes.

A trainer would be even more of a target since they could claim it circumvented their security (which BTW isn't any more secure than a game like Barbie).

Yeah but there's a difference with a trainer since it actually does alter programming permanently. With a cheat cartridge the effects go away when not in use. So it is a totally different subject.

Not sure if this has been brought up, but I applied one of the patches to Custom Robo Arena and it crashes with the background music still playing just after you obtain the Klimt and talk to Kris to battle her...

the HP is the most important though, the silly black boss with the head and arms at the end of Hibito's story is peeving me off, I have got sooo close to beating it yet always just miss out.

Does anyone know how to create the codes used in the cheat database as used by R4 card. Am a bit familiar with gamecheaters as ArtMoney on my pc to find specific locations in memory. And suppose could find those for roms as well when using an emulator. But dont expect those to work as cheat.

Cracker maybe you can share some knowledge. As i recall you were able to create a "cheat" for FFCC this way.
