I will definitely take a look at that link you gave. I even tried 3 different SD cards all formatted with guiformat Fat32 all of them didn't work. A YouTuber called funkyscott47 made an excellent video explaining the process. His solution was to keep trying to restart the process/console but it didn't work for me unfortunately and I have seen some others comments on YouTube saying they are having the same issues I'm having with it not showing up. The SD cards I used were: Lexar 64gb, 32gb SanDisk & a 4GB pny Micro SD too.

Did you checked the lock position on your SD card?, i was goin' insane same as you, and i didn't notice that my SD card was locked.
