Hacking Homebrew cIOs of the vWii (on the Wii U) bug

Hi,
I've a problem with cIOs in the vWii of the Wii U. I don't have the "V10 beta 52 d2x-v10-beta52-vWii" in the Os version. I heard that if I change the SD Card it will fix the problem. Can I just change temporarily the SD Card and change it back after or not ? (I've a 2gb SD Card formated to FAT32 and change to an 128GB also formated to FAT32)

The cIOS has nothing to do with the SD Card. The SDCard is only needed for the files to install it to the vWii. Best make a syscheck and follow this guide vWii modding. If the vWii is already hacked just use the homebrew channel and installer for the cIOS.

• Where are stuck, at which specific step?
• Did you followed the tutorial in detail to hack the WiiU/vWii? Its Noob proofed.
• Do you use CBHC/Haxchi or Tiramisu?
• Is the vWii already hacked?
• Is the homebrew channel already installed and works?
• Can you post a syscheck? (USE a spoiler)
• Is the SDCard corrupted? On Windows -> right klick -> properties -> Tools -> Error Check. If errors were found, replace the files and try again.

Then redownload the needed files from the vWii hacking guide (maybe follow it again to be sure no corrupted files exist), put them again on it and eject the SDCard with the symbol on the right side in the Taskbar. Dont just pull it out.

Else specify the issue by installing the cIOS.

No worries about changing SD cards, as long as it works for you.

use the 2 GB SD card to install your cios, then use the 128 GB for your applications ==> but it must be in FAT32.<<<==128GO

There is no difference if you use another SDCard. But It will not give you a solution if you dont find the error, why the cios installation fails. It dont work that way.

So, I don't really know lol. But I can tell you what did I do that can possibly fix it. First, I reinstall all the file from an older version. After, I create another account (i don't think that help). And I've uninstall some file. I've also install Pretendo. It's all what can I do for you, sorry, I really want to help you more but I can't. Maybe try another SD card, who know .

using a sandisk 4gb Micro SD HC in FAT32 with an old adapter I found laying around. will give it a shot.

that did the trick!

use the official link to cIOS on the wiiu hacks guide website.

try using an alternate SD card, and check brand/model compatibility, ( SanDisk HC 2GB - 32GB cards have the highest) good luck to anyone out there. never give up.

the 128GB should work. I use a 256GB, full-sized card. I've never had an issue with it. though, the front sticker fell off, so it's just a black sd card now.
