I got enough earbuds that Im tired of using. They make my ears get all fluid-y after half an hour. $100 is already pushing it as I've kind of been on a shopping spree. A few gamepads here, some bedsheet sets there, and-so-on.I would have suggested Bose QuietComfort, but there a bit out of your price range unless on sale. Must they be headphones or earplugs in consideration?
I don't consider myself an audiophile because I don't think that "enjoying music" is a pursuit worthy enough to spend several hundreds on. So I'll stick to a less-than-medium price range.I agree with the Superlux recommendation. The removable cable is a lifesaver.

They're the headphones I currently use for everything and they do a great job.
Only complaint is that the cord it comes with is 9ft long. You can buy a female mini XLR to male 3.5mm cable for around $15

I've never seen Bose or Monster much liked in the audiophile communities.
The average consumer thinks they are though.
