That looks a lot like this model

You need to look up for wholesale sites selling chinese knockoffs, like Aliexpress or Dealextreme (this one rarely sells games now).

Does Dealextreme still sell these i've checked before & only saw the SP I hate it its too cramped :)

Ah. You could get a flashcart for your GBA. I'm just pointing out alternatives as finding older knockoffs can be a bit difficult.

I don't like my GBA I have a SP & hate it i'll settle for a GBA original clone & buy EZ flash iv for it then sell the SP but thanks

I meant if you got an original GBA, you could get a flashcart for it. It's something similar to what I do. I carry a Game Boy Micro with me with a flashcart. That way I can play GBA games on the go without having to use the DSTwo Supercard in my 3DS, and it takes up little space. The original GBA is great with comfort, but I value pocket space more.

Good luck finding that clone. It might rarely pop up on Ebay, but you'd probably have better luck with more obscure sites. Sites that are older, sells a lot of Chinese products, and is still somehow active.

If you can't get the clone that you want for a reasonable price, I'd just get an original GBA, put a frontlight in it, and get a flashcart for it. All together that should only cost around $60, depending on your preferred flashcart.

Bro I don't think they sell the GBA clones anymore I just checked & nothing came up do you know of any other sites ?

Its not the price its finding it but your right although I like the clone because you get built-in games & a flash cart adds even more fun :)

I'll settle for a decent DS modded into a GBA

I bought one of those like two years ago.

No it doesn't work with the Ez Flash IV - BUT the model I had came with 2GBs of internal memory and you could play ROMs inside of that, no need for Flashcard.

It has the wrong aspect ratio, meaning games are a bit stretched. Also, the battery life lasts like 2 hours and a half, since the screen is SO bright, and you can't adjust brightness. Also, the buttons are hard - and I mean HARD, to the point of hurting.

The real problems: The recharging cable died off one month later (it was a cheap ass piece of shit) and it's proprietary. I looked online and couldn't find anything like it: It's an USB Data cable with an original GBA Link entrance. The unit uses a GBA SP battery though, so I used my GBA SP to charge it and swapped batteries. Problem is, I couldn't send games to it anymore. I had plenty of games inside though so I kept using it.

After a while, a week or so, it died definitely. The screen went white and wouldn't turn on again.

So I bought an Original GBA, modded with a GBA SP backlit screen, and bought an EZ-Flash IV.

My advice: Stay away from this. It's awful. If you really want an OG GBA with backlight then buy the real thing, you'll pay more for it but its totally worth it. There's a bunch of sellers on ebay selling pre-modded consoles if you don't want to mod one yourself (it's pretty easy really). OR if you just want to play GBA games, get an emulation handheld like an Android console or a PSP.

Man according to my screen they DO sell gba clones and it costs $ 28,49 (note that the site is considering my country, Brazil)

That's not a clone, that's the real deal. A refurbished original GBA. It has no light too.

I got two from a yard sale for 3$ (no battery cover). Check ebay and get the real thing. I use my DS with a flashcart since the emulation isn't too great for obscure games. I also like the back light. I'd happily trade a GBA for a GBA SP since I like the back light.
