I bought one of those like two years ago.
No it doesn't work with the Ez Flash IV - BUT the model I had came with 2GBs of internal memory and you could play ROMs inside of that, no need for Flashcard.
It has the wrong aspect ratio, meaning games are a bit stretched. Also, the battery life lasts like 2 hours and a half, since the screen is SO bright, and you can't adjust brightness. Also, the buttons are hard - and I mean HARD, to the point of hurting.
The real problems: The recharging cable died off one month later (it was a cheap ass piece of shit) and it's proprietary. I looked online and couldn't find anything like it: It's an USB Data cable with an original GBA Link entrance. The unit uses a GBA SP battery though, so I used my GBA SP to charge it and swapped batteries. Problem is, I couldn't send games to it anymore. I had plenty of games inside though so I kept using it.
After a while, a week or so, it died definitely. The screen went white and wouldn't turn on again.
So I bought an Original GBA, modded with a GBA SP backlit screen, and bought an EZ-Flash IV.
My advice: Stay away from this. It's awful. If you really want an OG GBA with backlight then buy the real thing, you'll pay more for it but its totally worth it. There's a bunch of sellers on ebay selling pre-modded consoles if you don't want to mod one yourself (it's pretty easy really). OR if you just want to play GBA games, get an emulation handheld like an Android console or a PSP.
That's not a clone, that's the real deal. A refurbished original GBA. It has no light too.
