From another 3DS? Wouldn't it just be better off getting a used 3DS then?
If you do it yourself it would come arou d 60$, but if you buy the mother board and ask for a service to install it it would come to about 100$. So yeah getting a new 3ds would probably better.

yeah as i was saying before, at the very least swap the motherboard from the red console to the gold one, as the ALBW console is worth more.....or you could just check it on ebay as faulty and hope for the best
Oh good idea I will consider that

yeah it would really depend on if hunds had a spare motherboard that he wanted to get rid of (i know i soetimes end up with spares) and in that case hunds might do him a sweet deal like $50/$60 for the board including fitting (or he might not and may just want $2000000.....i cannot speak for him ;P )

no harm him asking and getting all his options :)

Is your wifi still setup? If so just leave the system on the homescreen till prompted to update to 10.7

And even if ots not set up disable your wifi security and change the wifi name to attwifi (just until your system downloads the update)

I will try that thanks but I was on 9.2 updated to 10.3 using a sky3ds and I do not believe it will let me go in settings to update to 10.7 so should I wait for a cart update because I own a sky3ds

The system will download the update while on the homescreen as long as it can connect to the internet, just leave the system in sleep mode on the homescreen while connected to wifi
