Hey I am currently searching for a lite download manager to replace the Internet Explorer 8 one. I don't really need one like flashget or anything like that, just something that lets me stop and resume big file downloads.

Yea I have that but I mean something thats like when you click on a download on IE8 instead of the usual download box appearing you can choose wether you want to save it to the program and resume it later.

Google is your friend.

I tried that but couldn't find anything that I was looking for. Oh well I guess I just have to wait for IE9 when they improve the downloads.

Never going to happen. It's Microsoft's browser we're talking about here.

If you used a browser like Firefox you could get a small addon to do that.

I was going to suggest flashget as an alternative, though I see you already mentioned that. It does all that you ask for... so I dunno.

I remember when Firefox 3 was released the IE team sent the firefox team a cake to congratulate them on the launch.

This is complete BS, Mozzilla would have wanted to get paid in trident layers. Where did you get your information from?

I use IDM (Internet Download Manager). You can specify folders for videos, music, compressed, programs etc. I use it for megaupload mostly. It's nice to be able to highlight 50 links and queue them up.

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.
