Bad Gateway/Gateway Time-out

I remember this being a bit of a problem in the past, but was solved. Now I've begun to get spurts of these errors when visiting this site again. Is the cause known? Has something changed?

EDIT: Decided to update this post with the times I get this error. (US Eastern time)

5/29 5:50am, Error 502
6/11 5:40pm
7/2 12:29am, 502 and 504

The only times I get this error is really late at night, around the same time, daily, 11pm-1am. I wonder if it's something specific.

I believe it was the 3ds ban wave thread, and the amount of people registering to participate
