No, i did not ever did backup of my save files. I didn't use JKSM yet. When i restored my sd card and launched mhgen i've got a message that my ext data is corrupted and will be deleted. After that i found that i lost my character. Now i'm of course will use jksm for backup, but i wonder how to check is this unknown .sav file from restored data from mhg or not.
In other words, witch folder in Nintendo3ds folder related to mhgen save?

Certain food items only unlock through certain quests. That's probably a little more difficult to do.

I dont know sorry. I dont think you can just drag the save in.

I might just be missing something / completely blind lol but I can't add/edit equipment with the MHGen editor to save my life! Is there a tutorial somewhere I could read?

Just use this Item List to import items to craft them.

In order to use a CFW, you need to downgrade to an exploitable firmware. If you're on 11.0, you need to Hard Mod it which requires soldering.

Thank you only problem is, I've imported a whole ton of items already and have the materials, but when I try to craft Palico gear, it's all greyed out for some reason :/ that's why I thought I'd try to add them in with the editor

You need to Produce Scrap at the Palico dude. Also take some from the required items into your pouch. Put them back in your box.

This mhx save editor works for mhgen. It has all food unlocks as well as all hunter arts unlocks.

ok so i've loaded every item in the game and at 99. I go to upgrade my weapons and they're unable to do so even though i have max of every item besides equipment. Whats wrong?

Like i said. Take the required part out of your box. Put them back in. THen it works.

While waiting for APM to add this feature, you can use Kriogenic's MHX save editor. The project is abandoned but it has features like unlock all food/hunter arts.
