Hardware Anyone heard of Wii Boss?

I think I'm going for this chip. It looks really interesting.
What is a reasonable price for this chip?
I've found someone who will install it for 70 euro (so that's the chip, programmer, and installation all together). Good price I think?

I have paid 40 USD for the modchip and shipping.

I installed it myself... 40 USD is about 28 Euros i think.

i just received mine from DX today...

any way to make the cable strip attach to the mod chip permanetely? the connection doesnt seem like it will stay attached if your wii's going to be moved around

EDIT: nevermind, you just have to push harder on the cable until it snaps in place on the chip

the chips don't seem like there's any cosmetic damage to them at all...i think they were jsut stolen

wii boss is an international search engine created by sigatashi otoi. The hardware and processing is simply amizing, and you cant beat the proverbial pearls before swine variable that just creates that necessary kick

obviously it has to be a M/F cable, but I think there are 2 of them. null-modem and 'normal'. Which one is the right one?

I would avoid this site (emveegaming.com) because all of its products seem the same as dealextreme.com's except more expensive! Even the NDS essence pack is the EXACT SAME as DX's, but much more expensive. (DX price is 57.90)

They are probably just buying from DX and shipping to customer. Maybe even dropshipping... it's too dodgy for me, just buy from DX
