An anti spoiler rule for gbatemp?l

Im kinda mad right now. I really want to play hogwarts legacy but can't, i need to wait for my payday on friday first.
The problem is that i see spoilers of all kind here
I'd like to know if there is a rule on the forum that forbids spoilers about a videogame for x days following its release.

Having a ban on talking about a game after launch seems kinda silly on a forum. The best you can do is encourage people to use the spoiler tags since like, that's kinda their purpose.

I understand why it do sucks to have the story of a game spoiled. Question is, what can we do about it? I don't see how we could prevent such thing.

And what is a spoiler in a video game to begin with. Story elements clearly are, but what about mechanics? And things do mix up, for example is it a spoiler to say that Link will get a para-glider on Breath of The Wild? It's a mechanic, also a story element.

Joking aside, every time I look forward to a game for story reasons (like Persona 5 Royal, TGAAC, etc...), I always just disconnect myself from all social media sites and platforms until I beat the game, since 99.999999999% of the time there will always be at least ONE douchebag who'll spoil it on any platform without warning.

If it was a harry potter pic, i WOULD have stopped reading
But like i said nothing hinting it would be a spoiler

I wouldn't call that a spoiler, and even it was, it's not a game/story ruining one..

I feel you. I saw that very same pic on Imgur yesterday so it was already spoiled for me..
Good thing for me is that i forget names easily..

Also the fact that Nintendo said countless time we would have one looooong before the release, including in trailers...
