Still have the old thing. Great shape and I miss using it. I spend most of my time away from home and would prefer not to lug all my games around with me. I'm looking for a flashcart that supports GB-GBA specifically. Stability and save support would be great. Region-free and capable of playing mp3 files. An image viewer would be nice to have as well. Problem is, I've not been involved in the handheld hacking scene for a good ten years nor have I paid much attention to it aside from the Vita which I will be discussing my plans/questions in another thread. If anyone knows of a particular model and can recommend a vendor then that would be greatly appreciated.

Gameboy Advance Micro can't play gb/gbc games natively so you would have to emulate those using Goomba Color emnulator for gba using a flashcart. As far as a gba flashcart goes you might want to wait for the release of Krikzz Everdrive GBA. If you feel like you can't wait for the release of that flash cart then you can try the Ez-Flash IV MicroSD.

No release date at this time has been mentioned as it is still being worked on. One feature that will most likely that it will have is RTC/real time clock support using battery saves which makes it the only gba flash cart with it so you won't have to run patched versions of games like pokemon. There is a everdrive forum that you can check out and also some videos showing the progress of the everdrive gba.

F#$% ninja! Best option right now is an EZ-Flash. I have one and it's pretty easy to use. Be careful with the Pokemon games though, the patching software doesn't recognize the quick saving that happens in link trades and if you don't save properly after a trade it'll wipe your save.

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

@BigOnYa, Then i think people were talking about fallout 76

    that one was buggy too
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
