By the way, I'm not sure if you guys spotted the other fonts in arm9.bin already or not. But besides the main font, you have at least 2 more. If you're lucky, any of these might be the variable width font and you might be able to use it.

(2 pics show extra fonts in arm9.bin. I just assume they are extra fonts because I don't see these fonts in the game but I might be wrong. )

Your image files (mostly packed in the .bin files) are archived. The ones with flag 0x80 are compressed with LZ77 type 11. Once you decompressed the files, some files are still packed together. (Ex. You'll have RGCN, RNAN, RCEN packed together, and your RLCN comes in a separate file.)

For the graphics that are packed together, the first part tells you the start address of each file. You might extract the files and then use some narc tool to add them all as a narc file to edit the pics. (If that's easier.) Console Tool and CrystalTile2 can handle narc files very well.

I think that you could get other font in AA1... Is same... Is "mirror mode"...
Because that letters are "uglies"...

By the way, hackotedelaplaque, I don't know why I didn't try width 16 for that font. It looks a lot better.

Legally they can't. Distribution of ROMs is exactly what they DON'T want, as Capcom would shut them down with a DMCA (possibly), and forever kill chances of AAI2 getting an official localization.

They'll likely distribute it as an xDelta patch.

why don't you ask Big Klingy at Gyakuten Kenji 2 (AAI2) Translation Thread if they would be willing to help you out in translation/localizing? If I am correct, they are intending on translating the whole game into English anyway.
