Hacking A little trouble regarding Mario Kart 8 Custom Music

I tried some mods on Mario Kart 8 today, and everything worked great! Except for one thing. The music I'm trying to replace is BGM_MENU_WIFI.bfstm. (The music that plays in the Wifi menu) When it's loaded in the game, the song plays, but stops at the character selection screen and anywhere forward from that. Do I need to convert it to a multi-channel? Or am I just missing something? Thanks in advance.

That happens because Mario Kart 8's Wifi Menu has multiple channels.

Thanks for the reply. I made a 6 channel brstm and converted it to bfstm, and it worked. Feels like a dumb mistake, but at least I got it figured out.
