No problem man. Just glad to help outThank you for clarifying this works!
8gb consoles can use all of this stuff, got mine setup without a hitch. You just need to make sure the nand dump gets past sector 1090000 and then power of the console. Like @punderino has said there is no risk of brick from dumping your nand as it is only reading and not actually writing.
If you go looking for a few minutes for that one wiiu site you should be able to find punderinos pre-compiled ones quite easilyI wanted to apologize for my crazy posts earlier, there was, admittedly, some things I wasn't 100% clear about, and I took it upon myself to find out by hopping on IRC and getting a straight answer from the developers. They are confirmed to be working on a more stable NAND dumping program that will support 8 and 32 GB models. As of now, there's no ETA, but the fact they're working around the hard-coding issues gives me and a lot of users comfort, so once more, I do apologize,. This week has been crazy and awesome with all the Wii U news, keep it up, guys I'll be testing this out as soon as I can get a working fw.img.

So we get to that offset, wait till it gets past it, then turn off the console, nice

Question: Can you just install anything with a blank title with that IMG?Thank you for clarifying this works!
With the sig patches? I haven't tried. What do you mean by title?Question: Can you just install anything with a blank title with that IMG?
They are console-unique.Are the Nand dumps console unique , would they work on a different console ?
Well as it patches sig checks you can install pretty much anything you want. Just be ready for RedNand bricks so have a backup image of your sd saved away somewhere before you install stuff.Question: Can you just install anything with a blank title with that IMG?
I thin khe means the title.tik file or the ticket which validates the installation. With the sig patches? I haven't tried. What do you mean by title?

It 99.99% will. The current one is completely uncompresed which is the reason it needs so much space.Any chance the nand dump will go lower (Size wise ) in the future ?
What about the actual dump size, and would we be able to dump to USB?Fun fact: SALT's NAND dumper only has to be run once and is guaranteed to get a valid dump =P of course it's still not polished either which is why it's not public
Works on 8GB and 32GB WiiU?Fun fact: SALT's NAND dumper only has to be run once and is guaranteed to get a valid dump =P of course it's still not polished either which is why it's not public
