A jailbreak has finally been released for 32bit devices running iOS 9.3.5! The jailbreak has been named Phœnix, developed by Siguza and tihmstar, both known for their work in iOS hacking. They also credit Luca Todesco, Max Bazaliy and jk9357 for their input and UI elements.

How does it work?

This, much like the iOS 9.1-9.3.4 Home Depot jailbreak, is a semi untethered jailbreak. This means that the jailbreak needs to be reinstalled upon each reboot via an app. This app also requires to be sideloaded onto your device, meaning it has to be re-installed every 7 days, unless you have an Apple developer account.
This tool also includes tfp0, which will allow you to downgrade your iOS version, provided you have the correct blobs saved.
As 9.3.5 is currently and most likely the last version for 32bit devices, it seems that Phœnix will be the last jailbreak for them.

How to install

With PC:
  1. Download the IPA
  2. Download Cydia Impactor
  3. Connect your device to your computer
  4. Start Cydia Impactor and drag the IPA onto the top field
  5. Enter your Apple ID credentials
  6. On your device, go to "Settings > General > Device Management" and trust the certificate
  7. Run the app and tap on "Prepare for Jailbreak"
  8. Wait for it to respring, and launch Cydia from the home screen
  9. Whenever you reboot, open the app again and tap on "Kickstart Jailbreak"
  10. Whenever the app expires, install it again with Cydia Impactor
Instructions taken from https://phoenixpwn.com/

The exploit may fail a few times, if it does, just try again.

Without PC
  1. Copy and paste this into your device's browser:
  2. itms-services://?action=download-manifest&url=https://raw.githubusercontent.com/y...ed6f330744bcf4bf5c10ce7a2eafaa9/phoneix.plist
  3. On your device, go to "Settings > General > Device Management" and trust the certificate
  4. Run the app and tap on "Prepare for Jailbreak"
  5. Wait for it to respring, and launch Cydia from the home screen
  6. Whenever you reboot, open the app again and tap on "Kickstart Jailbreak"
The exploit may fail a few times, if it does, just try again.
These are methods which no longer work.

Without PC
  1. Go to http://ayouch.me/phoenix on your iDevice
  2. Tap "Install" and then tap "Install" again on the pop-up
  3. On your device, go to "Settings > General > Device Management" and trust the certificate
  4. Run the app and tap "Prepare for Jailbreak"
  5. Wait for it to respring and launch Cydia
  6. Whenever you reboot, open the app again and tap on "Kickstart Jailbreak"
The exploit may fail a few times, if it does, just try again.

Oh.
This device needs to be hacked to have Root rights? Lame.
Good thing that such people exist to release stuff for these devices. Thanks devs.
