i upgraded with the new 1.42c firmware, (before had miami nights) now I get the spongebob icon, but just get the same error message.
i have 2 3ds's with the firmware 1 3ds, i just get a white screen, with the firmware 2 3ds i just get the black screen error message.
I had a problem that i could not run the NDSL patch, i had to use the NDSi patch, is this the problem ? the NDSL patch file kept giving me a card verification fail
but the NDSi patch verified the card ok.
Maybe R41DS.CN authorised sellers have sold us fake cards !

I was hoping the team would have their new firmware uploaded on the website by now. Quite disappointed, although I've got original carts of Pokemon Black and White (currently playing White) and I'll have Link's Awakening from the store later, and Zelda next week on release.
I can live without my flash cart for now, and if the other teams have their updates out, I'm sure there will be one for us fairly soon.

Well, I've been planning to buy a flashcart for my 3DS after this update for a long time, probably AK2i or R4i Gold. So now that I have updated my 3DS, is there a way to update any of those carts manually, without the need to update them in a DS/L?
If so, I would like a tutorial or something if possible.

If the cards are just R4 clones of a kind, and the other cart teams have got some updates out and working, has there been anything to say that they aren't working on a new update, or not actually able to update the card?
