Just wondering, but has anyone attempted to get BootNTR or BootNTR Selector (it worked best for me) working after the new firmware update? I updated my CFW to the latest one (being as I like using the homebrew emulators among other stuff), which I figured was the easier one of the two choices I had to make (either don't update and thus lose the ability to play games like Pokemon online but keep the ability to use BootNTR, or update to be able to play online but miss out on using BootNTR). So yeah, although BootNTR isn't as much on my mind as it was while I was playing Mario Kart 7, I'm just crossing my fingers that there is some progress with trying to get it working again on O3DS (XL) USA consoles.
@astronautlevel is working on that iirc.

I have another console on a9hl + Luma 6.2 Sys 11.0.0-33, should I update to 11.1? is something broken and needs to fixed? and if so, how do I fix it?

Upgrading broke FBI network install for me. If you never use it no big deal but I love that feature especially since I don't have to unscrew the backplate off my n3ds everytime I want to install something.

Tldr, my 3ds has luma cfw on 11, but not the a9lh, is it okay to update, or should I hold back on updating to latest firmware yet.
Regards
If you're not on a9lh then you must be on emunand. AFAIK It's fine to update emunand just make sure it's unlinked to sysnand.

Idk what happen I was screwing with my 3DS CFW Reinand 11.1.0-34 and I got NTRBoot to somehow work for me. So enjoying using it still till I can update to the new one but mine works great on the new firmware so far beside HBL

You are probably using 11.0 or lower native firm.

Why not use ftpd?

That works...thanks! I was using a different version of ftp server and it would continuously time out. Though FBI network install is still very convenient for smaller installs or if you are low in free space and don't have room to copy the cia file and install it. Hopefully it gets fixed in the future.

You're welcome. I'm sure it will be fixed in the future. You can always open up an issue on it's github page to ask and receive further information from the developer.

I have a N3DS with Luma3DS on 11.1 (latest build, not dev version and no al9h). Like a few days ago i was used to ReiNand and switched over to Luma so I'm really unfamiliar with it.
There's a BootNTR build working on 11.1 but requires Nfirm 11.0. On ReiNand i wouldn't have to worry about it because Nfirm doesn't change with updates but how is it handled on Luma? Is there a way i can "downgrade" the Nfirm somehow? (I don't have any Emunand backups, rip.)

(Edit: Searching with Google didn't bring anything up, almost impossible to find a Luma3DS user without al9h)

You can use a dumped 11.0 native firm (renamed to firmware.bin, making sure it's specifically for either o3ds or n3ds) in the luma folder. You can either dump it yourself from 11.0 firmware via Decrypt9, or try to find it on That ISO Site. I didn't find it last time I looked, so I may take the one I dumped for n3ds and put it up somewhere if enough people need it.
Oh, and you would need to use the latest stable dev version as last time I checked the non-dev version won't load firmware.bin anymore beyond 7.x
