I made a thread but no one answered it sooo...
I've seen a bunch of tutorials for one with a flashcart, but they dont work. If it matters (which it might), I have the DSi homebrew launcher on my 3DS.

Maybe you could run the unbricker in the DSi homebrew launcher assuming it's a DS file?
