It's like having a car and teleporter in one - if you're using the teleporter, you don't need the car. And if you're afraid of the teleporter and only want to use the car part then why not just buy a car and not pay extra for the teleporter component.

It won't be, the part that works on 11.6 is the Sky3DS which always worked on all firmwares, and the DS flashcart part is what installs the CFW on 11.6, and Gateway doesn't have that. If you mean the rom menu with the DS and 3DS together, maybe, but probably the Skygate has different hardware and it isn't possible to have that menu available in Gateway mode and if it was, it would be against their interests to implement it because then less people will buy the Skygate.

Yeah I have just checked the prices it cost €80. That is €30 more then Gateway.
So Gateway will likely stay on cfw.

Using b9s on both of my consoles but maybe i buy one if the functions are good.

Is there any news about the support of cheats like Gateway? Because this would be a argument for me to buy one of these cards. I‘m really missing this feature with b9s and latest Systemupdate.
Or is there another method for using the gateway cheats with b9s?

Not too sure but I think it won't have cheats. It's basically a Sky3DS with a DS flashcart built-in. Totally not worth the price.
On B9S you can use BootNTR to load NTRCFW and then load cheats plugin, there is a way to convert Gateway cheats to a NTR plugin, too

Another thing would be running .3ds files directly without the need to convert them and install them. This feature is also one i miss on b9s.

Sorry, but that thing looks slow as fuck. It's a bad sign when you have to fast forward the video. The only thing slower is probably menuhax.

Well, technically the slowest hax is veryslowpidhax, which can take up to a month to execute on an O3DS lol

The only thing I can say that is positive about this cart, is that this cart is technically cheaper than a new Sky3DS+. With that said, it's still way too much just for the ability to play .3DS ROMs and an Ace3DS (they are clearly using their Bluecart hardware, which is an Ace3DS clone.) Even with those functions, I still feel like 40$ would be a more fair competitive price for this cart.
I am not including NTRBoot in the price because that's a free software and you would have to be a real ~~R4-SDHC~~ scumbag to try and profit off it

is no point everyone is gonna gate hat regardless.
if gateway doesnt help bring custom flimware peoplewill go nut, if they help bring custom flimware people will go nut cause then it ruin the other point (which is ironic reason cause people buy for that)

now with cfw i can do what i want, why i should pay 90€

Though the plugin says for one game. All you need to do is rename the plugin to the correct titleID and you can use the search button to find codes. This closes in on what gateway had to offer and is also a fun feature to use.
