Which is a reason why they are a shitty company. Sells Gateway for $80+, stops development and falls 3 firmwares behind, while still continuing to lack firm protection; all the while promising updates. Then when they actually deliver, not only do they want your money again for a "new" card, but I doubt they will support the one you JUST bought last year.....
Are Gateway cheats and drag and drop really THAT superior to warrant the cost of an entire system? Hell no.
Some reseller from Shenzhen told me thats the release date for the Stargate 3DS will be announced in the coming week or better its around the corner

well i checked stuff and for all i know date that Stargate is Availability: Shipping 29th September
so i guess that the time u can get that stuff?
i think ill preorder it. its like 66.53 euro so cheap for me. u can look up there website and see which sites sell the stargate cards etc and prices.
I don't see a release date on their site, but at the same time if this is true, then this cart is going to be another "wait" cart from them.
It's already half way through September and it's not released, now someone is suggesting it's going to be at end of September. That does not bring me confidence in this cart and it should worry users. Do we really want to gamble on this cart breaking with OFW updates and spending long periods of time without being able to update? Because that's how this cart is already shaping up to look like.
I honestly suggest users pass on this cart and just buy an R4i Gold. For 20$ users are basically going to get the same results. A CFW to play 3DS games (CIAs) and flashcart to play DS games on, it's really only missing the .3DS ROM loading. Which to be honest isn't worth the extremely high price tag to get.
Although this wouldn't be shocking considering Gateway's history, but do you have a source to backup that statement?
1)It's not thier fault you're late to the game. Although DS carts are MUCH cheaper, the GW has lasted LONGER than most DS flashcarts. Most can't be used without CFW/*Hax...
2) Yes, GW cheats are that good. Most cheats I need, I find myself right on my console, while I'm playing the game, and with no PC. No other solution can say this, and NTR conversions DON'T EXIST without GW. Someone has to find them with a GW first.

2) That's true for some people, but I think most would find $80 plus inconvenience not worth cheats. It's definitely not universally worthwhile.
Today, of course. I got mine when it was the ONLY way to get homebrew. I just find some of the arguments funny because they make no sense. If you bought one last year, you could have already had homebrew and everything instead of buying it. Right now: No way. Stargate... probably still a no-way unless there is a flash sale on it later on down the road.
But they had a good run, and added quite a few features. Other cards didn't. I definitely got my money's worth. If not for GW, I doubt I'd ever make it through a labyrinth in Ever Oasis (using gold tiles)!
I guess all flashcard companies are shit then, considering they have all done the drop support, buy our new card at some point.
Pretty much all the major players that had a slot 2 DS card , immediately dropped support the second the slot 1 cards appeared and told you to buy new card.
That was fine, but gw has to support the same card forever.

Why not buy a r4 or another compatible flashcard so much cheap an a SD card (32 GB or more) with this money?
I honestly wouldn't be shocked if it is delayed. Gateway has a long history of delaying updates to death and it's rather unfortunate. I just wish we were hearing it from them instead or actually hearing anything from them. Thus far their site only has the announcement page and nothing more.
Like I said before, I highly suggest people not waste their money on this cart. It's not even out yet and they've already shown that they haven't changed their practices.

Sooo... Pretty much they did was dump r4 wood kernel and forced flashcard to show it to 3ds, then modified it a little bit so flashcard could read titles from that dump...
Wow, much revolution...
No cheats tho..
