it's code.bin not ips... if you dont have it, it's a different issue then…

remove ips ==> partially translate…
Where is code.bin supposed to be then? cause removing code.ips made it work and stuff IS translated

EDIT: so i placed the .ips file back in, it's working now. Do i have to change anything in the locale.txt file?

as the first post implies, luma is supported. you need to place the downloaded files in the appropriate folder structure. OnionFS might be working as well, but its not the target platform.

we are working step by step on the current arcade folder. after that, we could do translate the card- and attack names, but it should be more desirable to continue first with the ingame battle screens / images, so thats what we will do.

Story will be done by summvs.general text translation will be done by him as well. he is available on september and start doing some stuff.
Coby hasn't reported in for a while, so he is probably out. Any text translation is on hold and might be redone at some point too.

How to use
First, you need luma which means you should take a look on that => https://3ds.guide/
Second, you need to use the ingame patcher of luma =>https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Options-and-usage

If you managed to download the file, you need to extract it under the luma titles directory on your sd card.
It looks like this "SD CARD ROOT"/luma/titles/
The downloaded file contains a folder with the titleid as its name. You need to put that folder under the mentioned path.
It should look like this now .../luma/titles/00040000001B4300/...
