zelda felt like a poor attempt to try be an open world, had no story and was again so repetetive.

but all i will say to end this is sit back enjoy the console if you love it, ill sit back and watch it have little worth playing, the wow factor will die down and it will be the same old shit and nintendo will be again first to release another console and will again be promising better third parties (its not like its been said over and over since the n64)

im the person who states what will be, fuck me i knew the wii u would fail before it even launched and it was for the same reasons im putting now with stating the switch will not get better support like nintendo keep claiming.

i do not deny to dislike them, ive even said i dislike them and for reasons, im not here trying to claim something to be what its not.

all i will say is sit back and watch it become a repeat of past nintendo consoles.

id love to be wrong, if nintendo did actually start getting better support then id actually love them again, but i aint holding my breath.

I never liked it and found it too tedious to do for every match or for even more than three times so I'd just drift left and right as much as possible instead, so much more fun than fire hopping, imo.

The new drifting boost will make it even faster on 150cc.

Not taking any sides at all but for me, nintendo is wrong here in only 1 aspect, in that it did not focus on providing EXCLUSIVE content for the Switch, 2 months (almost) now in retail. I personally do not mind so much because i have a shit ton of games to play old and new, but you DO NOT just release a console with the only good first party support is really 2 games released for your older system as well!

All consoles had first party (well, most) support on the first day, at least 2nd party (Killzone etc). Nintendo is really grasping at straws when it is coming to customer attraction yet they decide to release their newest console with a paltry first party offering. Again, it does not matter how good the new zelda or mario kart is, as long as it is available on other consoles as well. Same could be said for the Wii release of zelda twilight princess, but the gamecube had a proper generation lifespan and the wii had a lot of impressive things for the time, zelda was not its only selling point, where switch's ONLY selling point so far was zelda alone.

Unless E3 is packed to death with new stuff by Nintendo, I fail to see how they can resurrect their brand and inspire confidence among customers again, and yes, customers does not mean me you and anyone on gbatemp.

I don't disagree, I think the Switch lineup is paltry at best and terrible at worst.

For the record I didn't disagree with him either, 3 weeks ago. But since then he's derailed every conversation on this board into the exact same tirade of "Nintendont" this and 3rd party that, turning evey post off topic and into a massive argument.

I've said before that I feel Switch has a massive way to go, that I feel WiiU offered far better launch titles and that Nintendo seem to be loosing serious momentum gained from healthy launch sales.

I just don't feel the need to endlessly repeat my opinions in threads when they have little to no relevance to the subject an OP wishes to discuss.

If people want to discuss the 3rd party support, hardware limitations or buisness practices of Nintendo I'm all for it. But create a thread where it can be kept contained, not derail every thread into it simply to cause animosity and fights.

Retroboy wont create a thread about it, wont keep the conversation contained and wont stop derailing topics because he is unfortunately only interested in trolling.

I'm really looking forward to getting MK8 Deluxe on the 28th, I think it will be an excellent chance to really test out the Switch online and hopefully Nintendo can give us all an early insight into what we are paying for at a later date. I did order it from game.co.uk when it first appeared as a pre-order title and I paid £49.99p at the time but what I am really kicking myself about now is that you can get it delivered free of charge to your door from Toys'r'us & Smyths Toy Store for only £41.99p so I felt a bit peed off about that! I rushed into pre-ordering it at the time, instead of waiting longer for better deals to show up online

I certainly wont be making the same mistake with Mario Odyseey. I shall wait this time and learn my lesson!

Yeah I agree with you but at the time it was not showing up, at the time I ordered everything together the Switch & games where not showing up on Amazon.co.uk, only the main stream gaming sites like Nintendo.co.uk "obviously" and Game.co.uk, Gamestop, Argos.co.uk (not sure why with Argos but you could pre-order it) but I have noticed you can sign up for "Prime" Amazon and get the discount and then op out of the deal, which is really good! I wont be rushing into any games now I think I got carried away in the moment.

Should of gone with Amazon, they price match and refund on pre-orders.

Like I mentioned above, when I pre-ordered the Switch with Zelda & MK8 alongside, you could only pre-order from limited sites like Nintendo, Game etc.. Amazon I did think off at the time but it was not showing as a pre-order item. I did order the Switch & games really early on, I think now back in early January, that was my mistake.

They said the chances of me getting one on release date was very slim even though I had ordered it early on so I did as he said and I ordered the console from Argos.co.uk instead, which arrived on time happily!
