I just picked up mass effect and not nearly done with Zelda! Damn it rpgs are piling up.
(OT) Your opinion. Is Mass Effect Andromeda as bad as they say?
I was planning to get the game, but after seeing all the crap on it I plan to wait until it gets somewhat discounted before I get it.

I didn't know people we're saying the game is bad just the facial animations which are a little strange but it looks fine to me. I got about 5 hours into the game and I'm already into the story a lot. The story with no spoilers is you travel with thousands of people to start life in Andromeda which no one in previous mass effect history has ever been and everything is shrouded in mystery and I love that. The combat is just like the previous games just with evasive moves and a more advanced skill tree. The graphics are awesome and everything is so detailed.

They were also talking a lot about it being very badly written and unable to get you into the story, and with equipment difficult to manage and cumbersome to equip somehow, no idea, I haven't played it myself. I suppose I will have to try it and see if I like it myself, I am more into it for the story ambience, mystery and the sense of exploration, I think the first Mass Effect was the one I liked the most if it tells anything.

Don't forget WonderBoy 3 and Yooka Laylee before April 28 :)

Yooka Laylee isn't being released on Switch at the same time as other platforms. At the moment they're just saying 2017. If it were close to ready I imagine they'd be more specific, so I wouldn't expect to see it before summer or fall.

The story so far is extremely interesting but maybe it goes downhill after a ways into the game but I don't know. The controls are a little strange but nothing bad which after playing zelda so much it made it worse for me to get use to them. I would recommend getting it.

Anyways back to Mario kart, I can't wait to play this with friends and with alcohol. It doesn't get much better than that.

USFII? Nah, it will be another arcade game port. [I'm not interested in fighting games at all]
Puyo Puyo Tetris? Tetris with story. [Eh....]
MK8DX? Mario Kart 8 but with new characters and battle mode maps.

Everything seems recycled .-.
But hey, i can't wait till they will port Skyrim to Switch. [At this rate, i will be already playing Super Mario Oddysey]
I really, really hope that Skyrim wasn't just a theoretical type of deal and that its actually coming to Switch. I played it a few years ago on PC and would be awesome on the Switch.

I'm unsure why you believe MK8 Deluxe will serve you better than Zelda; it could be shorter.

At least Breath of the Wild is a completely new game in the series so that gives you time.

MK8 Deluxe is MK8 with all the DLC and a few new characters and modes. So even assuming you didn't get the DLC on the Wii U, you have that stuff to get through before you finish it and realize you're back to the same game you got on Wii U, and the staleness you're experiencing with Zelda is happening with MK8 Deluxe.

Disregard this post if you didn't get MK8 on Wii U, or didn't have a Wii U, in which case you'll be fine.

Another big thing for me with MK8 Deluxe, it's full 1080p and not 720p. The 59 fps microstuttering when AI is present is gone as well, in this version.

Why? I loved Mario Kart 8 on the WiiU and with this being the defintive edition I'll play it even more than I did on the WiiU, which is to say, I played the WiiU version since its launch.

MK8 is my absolute favourite of the Mario Kart series as Nintendo nailed the drifting and racing is just so much fun!

Zelda:BotW is a single player experience and at this point I'm just bored of it 'cause I played the hell out of it as I wanted.

Yes, that's exactly what MK8D is and it's not a bad thing at all.

Even if it costs a bit more it's still worth it, you're getting two versions of the game at once (Console + Portable). :)

I wound up importing Disgaea since it's in English anyway and about the same price it would cost at release. Should be here this afternoon, which is good since I finished Zelda last week and have just been playing random games--Alienation, Mirrors Edge, etc.

Why is the physical copy like $10 cheaper than the digital???
