I made this tier-list for how excited I am about each announcement. All-around a pretty good Direct!

I refuse to play Etrian Odyssey with that disgusting font.

How do you even fuck that up?

@Purple_Shyguy Not just the font, but the fact they're releasing the DS versions of 1 and 2? The two worst games in the series? Not even worth it at that point, when every EO fan probably has the 3DS remakes and originals at the ready already. The series' has a super unique design philosophy, but it's a design philosophy the franchise slowly grew into with every subsequent entry -- it's a very iterative franchise that improves with every installment, becoming more and more like the game the developers clearly always wanted to make. Since it's something the series grows into, the first two games just DO NOT represent Etrian Odyssey's brilliant and unique design philosophies as well as any of the later games (including the remakes), and it feels like they're deliberately setting EO up for failure to justify not making a fully-fledged sequel for Switch while still making some money on the trilogy's nostalgia sales.

Prime Remastered is way more than just a remaster. It's really good. My only complaint so far is that there are little wall mirrors in the Chozo Ruins that used to show Samus's reflection, and now they only show the room behind her. I guess Samus is a vampire now?
