I just got this mod and i love it. I've been trying to add in custom textures and other stuff but it never seems to work (the most I've managed to do was change mario's purple battle portrait) I'd like to know how to mod this more on my 3ds, so if anyone is willing to take some time and help me, it'd be greatly appreciated!

I don't know how to add custom textures on 3DS, never tried it before and I probably never will. However, I think if you use the textures from http://gbatemp.net/threads/smash-3ds-texture-hack-thread.417509/ you can figure it out from the folder structure.
The textures aren't that important to me really, make more turbo characters is and Sammi's program is a little confusing to me. I also have used that thread (it's where i got the mario mod) but nothing else seemed to have worked beside that and the turbo mod.
Zelda doesn't work... everyone else does, just not her... the hell?

I think it was just taken down, I'll remove it from the OP, but I'll summarize it for you.
First thing's first: you need any form of CFW to dump the DLC. 3ds.guide basically tells you everything you need to set it up, and now it doesn't require any purchases, so that's a plus. If you don't have CFW of any form, this guide will help you set up A9LH and Luma CFW, which, again, is required to dump DLC.
Then, I think all you really need is to follow this guide by @Asia81.
Anyway, thanks for (inadvertently) reminding me that I need to update the OP, I'll get right on that.

Hey. So I'm having an issue, and I'm not too sure how to fix it. ROB and Yoshi have multiple jumps but the turbo on their attacks doesn't work. Sonic and Pac don't have multiple jumps. And Zelda just doesn't work at all, she's unaffected. Any idea what's causing this, and a fix?
I'll look into this, but I was sure I got everyone. I'll check in a bit, thanks for telling me!
Edit: Forgot to say that editing Sonic's parameters don't work for some reason, so I can't give him the speed and multiple jumps I wanted to.
Still haven't gotten around to testing it, but what about ROB, Yoshi, and Zelda don't work? Is it their normals? Specials? Or, hopefully not, their entire movesets?
No, it's entire movesets. I'm checking as I write this. Zelda, Yoshi, and that's ROB too, yeah, full movesets. Sorry!
