Hi guys,

is there any kind of "thing" that you can buy separately for the new 3DS which makes it more comfortable?. I do really like the console but whenever i play a game like Monster Hunter as instance I'm getting tired due the controls and the weight. I wish there were something like a 3DS table where you can like put your console on it and play while sitting or lying on your bed.

greetings.

I came to the N3DS XL from a 2DS, and I agree that it's awkward and uncomfortable to hold and play. And the SD card slot is the most inconvenient thing ever made. I'm surprised nobody makes aftermarket battery covers with an open SD slot yet. I need one. Holding my battery in during CIA installs is a royal pain in my ass.

Yep. I second that!. Fortunately, it's mostly like a one time thing whenever you want to install new things.

By the way, i found this video about that japanese grip. But what's going on with those hands in the video? :D I'm not quite sure if i should take that review seriously or just as a joke.

Yep it's totally expensive actually... I'm not sure if it's worth it just for that. Well, I'll think twice about it and then decide what to do. The other ones are nice as well but, i don't really like the style from that other japanese thing. The last option is getting that silicon grip. We shall see... Anyways, if i get one of these I'll write a review here for you guys.

I have the cyber grip and very happy with it, although I do like the way the Hori MH one changes up the 4 shoulder buttons.

The cyber grip does look also quite nice actually but I'm a little bit nervous about the backside design which doesn't look comfortable that much. I wish the design would be more like the MH one from Hori.

The back of mine looks different to that (and mine is a n3ds xl) the 2 pointy bits are far closer to the top like the one in the pics for this review
https://gbatemp.net/threads/review-of-the-cyber-gadget-grip-for-3ds.446404/
And I know thats for a small n3ds, but its a lot closer to what I have than the pic you have.

When holding mine I have baby and second fingers wrapped around grip, middle fingers flat (fingertips on cart door and up against 2 pointy bits) index fingertips resting on pointy bits unless I need one of the shoulder buttons.
