Would this be able to fill out the whole screen on the 3ds?
It's said many times before, but why would you want this? The 3DS screen is 5:3, but the DS screen was smaller. This will change the aspect ratio of any game, and make it looks like everything is fat and strange.

TWLoader v1.4

You can now run ROMs from your Slot-1 flashcard!
Here's how to do it.
1. Create a ROM path .ini file at "sdmc:/nds/flashcard/".
2. Put this in:
Code:
[FLASHCARD-ROM]
NDS_PATH = Games/Game name.nds
3. Change "Games/Game name.nds" to wherever your ROM is at, for example, your ROM is at "Games/Super Mario 64 DS.nds", put that in.

My card doesn't use wood I don't think since it's the newer R4i 3ds Wi-Fi.

My Acekard doesn't use Wood either. Its purpose is not to replace the flashcard firmware.

Funny enough I just got this card and the devs are getting closer to just running everything from the 3DS sd card.

They're gettnig closer but they're still far off and it's doubtful if it will ever become a competent alternative to just using a flashcard.

Well even if we don't get there hopefully we'll get a forwarder that replicates all the functions like cheats and rts. Anyways thanks again for your help I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

Is there any requirement fot the flashcart (such as use wood or something) or this should work with every flashcart that works with the 3ds?

we can only use one rom of dstwo or more to the config file ?
Each .ini file should be made for each ROM.

For anyone having trouble getting this to work, I didn't provide any more information, 'cause I had to go to bed. Sorry about that.

Download this pack:
SC DSTWO
And extract what's in the "for Slot-1 microSD" folder to your flashcard's microSD root.

4. Go to Settings.
5. In NTR/TWL settings, select "Flashcard(s) select".
6. Pick "SuperCard DSTWO".
7. Out of Settings, press R to switch between SD Card and Flashcard.
8. Select the .ini file(s) you created, and your ROM should load.

Files added/updated:
  • sdroot/_dstwofwd/autoboot.ini
  • sdroot/_nds/twloader/NTR_Launcher.nds
I'll be working on the DSTT/R4i-SDHC card next.

You'd need to mod TWL_FIRM.

Also, that's a bad idea and you should feel bad.

I'd like to do that too.Is it dangerous?

It's said many times before, but why would you want this? The 3DS screen is 5:3, but the DS screen was smaller. This will change the aspect ratio of any game, and make it looks like everything is fat and strange.

Do you have any example/picture how it looks if done?
