Hey, ShadowNAND and the A9LH v2 with a mini-CFW are both still a thing.

But it does sound like the OP didn't install A9LH properly. If they followed the guide, it only brings you up to V2 without the mini-CFW. So it should have just turned off when you booted the system without an SD card.

If you followed Plailect's guide fully, you wouldn't be on 9.2 sysnand, you'd be on an updated sysnand.

If you were on sysnand 9.2, it sounds like you were perhaps using emunand. Or you stopped Plailect's guide in the middle.

Also, when you say real nand vs sysnand, it also makes me think you were using emunand. sysnand is real nand, so no idea what else you can mean other than emunand. It seems like you updated sysnand and not emunand. Is this possibly your setup?

I didn't set up emunand, I used a new 32gb SD to install a9.
And if I don't have a9, how I log in luma and inject cia and play games?
The only thing strange that I notice was that after I played ssb, and close the game, it enter the real nand, not luma sysnand, but I didn't do anything there, I only turn off the 3ds

It's not "a9". Use the proper name or you'll confuse people. A9LH.

And what the fuck is the difference between SysNAND and real NAND? They're one and the same. You're confused here I think.

I'm sorry, I mean cfw luma sys 11.1 and real nand ver 11.1
In luma I can use CIA, in real nand I can't do anything.

Sigh.... SysNAND IS the real NAND.
Luma patches SysNAND but that doesn't make it less real.

Hi. I need your help. I install with spiderhax the screen freeze but i hold select. After i try to boot but with my sd card ? the screen was black. I try to config Luma but its was impossible. So i folllow that.

  1. Check for the existence of arm9loaderhax.bin in the root of your SD card.
2. Try resetting Luma's config and fix options
  1. Delete /luma/config.bin from your SD card
  2. Set your options when it boots
3. Test booting Hourglass9
  1. On Luma3DS, hold Start on boot
4. Try deleting home menu's extdata
  1. Clear Home Menu's extdata by navigating to /Nintendo 3DS/(32 Character ID)/(32 Character ID)/extdata/00000000/ on your SD card
    - EUR Region: Delete 00000098

Now i boot on my sysnand but when i hold select for Luma or start for Hourglasses nothing happened.

And i have a question its normal, if i have with my oldest folder with 32id (so my sysnand?) in the Nintendo 3ds folder, 5 others folders? 4 folders with 32id and one its the private.

Could you answer my question about whether or not you have your OTP from when you would have downgraded to 2.1? It'll be the easiest way to tell if you actually had A9LH at some point.

You can't just simply lose your A9LH. It seems like you've got an emuNAND and not A9LH.

Well, at the moment, it looks like they lost CFW and are on 11.1.

OP was using SysNAND 9.2 with EmuNAND up to date, Luma was not flaged to protect Sys, he was using Emu with Sys FIRM, updated Sys and lost A9LH cause was without FIRM protection activated .
That was what happened, he must have started the System with L pressed, booted with Sys and lost it.

No more A9LH OP!

No. We're quite sure you probably used EmuNAND/RedNAND and updated SysNAND....

Having an /arm9loaderhax.bin doesn't make you have A9LH automatically.
