Sorry, I wasn't sure how responsive that the reddit thread would be. I don't understand how to compile it or else I'd love to. But considering how most people are probably like me and don't know how to merge, I was concerned about when they download the latest version and Pokemon doesn't work (like they think it says) then there would be a shitshow of calling you guys liars and the such. I am more than willing to wait for the build, I don't just care about Pokemon's compatibility, From what I remember, Smash will also run and Yo-Kai will run faster so I was more interested in testing those. Thanks.

There is a Windows build now. A new PR was merged which will hopefully reduce the number of Windows build release-errors like what happened with the CRO release using a cache (We'll only find out in the next merge wether this actually works or not though).

@emmauss your report wasn't very good - it contains logic errors: "git commit 474586b. build id= HEAD-c9a5cf4" < that's not possible (I know how this happened though). Also please, take the time to at least use the shift key in the issue title.

Very nice, But still has black screens in pokemon game's at the start, the video footage don't seems to be running unlike sandy are the sse builds, jdmk, It's there just not showing it, total Invincible

But once the game kicks in it's fine

It's worth a try to find out what will make the video footage work..., I'm just looking into all his merges and see what one worked, it maybe not this issue at all.
Maybe some shader or other, I'm trying and testing each merge one at a time.

On a node, it's easy to an old newb to forget where he once was lol

If your'e talking about the black screen when booting up Pokemon X and Y, that's unimplemented geometry shaders.

Thanks, Thought so would have to be shader of some type, even the bottom screen blank when top was not.

yeah thats a logical error.though i said it was build from only master, the merging to my default branch may have change commit hash, since i updated over 40 commit from master. i will make corrections and test it with the new master.

@JayFoxRox is the CiTrace recorder good for reporting bugs that dont crash on their own, like dolphins FIFO recorder. anytime i try to record, it crashes when i stop emulation.

made corrections in the issue.now using current master, and not my build.

Absolutely not. CiTrace was never completed and it's utterly broken.
I think we should re-discuss removing it. It's only really kept because we might want to work on it in the future. I remember getting really confused by it when I started working on Citra too.

You don't (or well.. you don't have to). I've implemented it in a branch on my repo (see PR on my repo for more infos).
However, it was never PR'd completely to the official repo. Someone is looking into merging it again now though.
I might continue work on it again if I have more time available, however, currently I don't see it happen anytime soon.
If you want to discuss GS in depth I recommend using the other Citra topic (Unofficial builds).

Also, just saying - spot on:
CRO is a huge PR, 2700 lines. That will take *A LOT* of time to review (despite wwylele doing a great job explaining everything and following the code guidelines).
I don't think it will be merged before end of August to be honest.

Not really spot on but you did make a very close assumption. You mentioned it will NOT merged before end of August. Unless the word "before" is replaced with "until" then it is spot on.

I bought today a 3ds second hand how do i extract the emunand to use it to run the operating system on citra like several on you guys already did? Do i need to downgrade to a lower version? If yes how do i do it ? Do i need a modding tool? Which one should i get ?

You first have to make sure that your 3DS supports homebrew. Check out https://www.3dbrew.org/ or find some other source of information.
It's not related to Citra so it should be discussed in a seperate thread. I'm sure there are also tutorials on gbatemp.

Once you have homebrew working follow the instructions by DestinyFeather

I have to say this early cause I'm tired and the HYPE IS REAL!

i hope it works better on 3ds/2ds itself because i can't play sonic generations 3ds rom game on this nintendo 3ds pc emulator on my windows 10
