That's not what I mean though. Those have different filenames than the param folder filenames.

TBH, if you cannot even remove the "wst_" and replace it with "Normal" for shooters and for others leave the name as it is to find the param name, you should stop doing this.

GatlingHyper.params = Hydra Splatling
GatlingHyper_2.params = Custom Hydra Splatling

GatlingQuick.params = Mini Splatling
GatlingQuick_2.params = Zink Mini Splatling

GatlingStandard.params = Heavy Splatling
GatlingStandard_2.params = Heavy Splatling Deco

These are not correct.

I guess same applies to my post, then.
Bummer. I assumed since everything lined up so conveniently with prior posts, that Japanese site must've the right names, at last.
What are the correct names for the Splatlings then, if you know they're incorrect? Might be the same case as with the old internal names of the Slosher Weapons, "Boblobber/Bomlobber".
Though the param names always were "BigBall___".

Yours do look fine. It's just that e.g. GatlingHyper_2 is NOT Custom Hydra

@povlur., edit all the weapons like the effect of the Splattershot Junior.

Do it yourself lol

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Figured I might just dump this here–
I hope that's right:

NOTE: All different weapon kits share the same parameters, if that isn't obvious already–
It seems to cause confusion. (Splattershot = Tentatek = Hero Shot Replica = Octoshot)

I also have no idea about where the game stores the files dedicated to the "real" Hero Shot used in Octo Valley. See the following paragraph.

I have no access to my Wii U ATM, and as such, I haven't even got to dump this game, but I remembered there was a thread on /r/splatoon and it had a comment with a link to weapon parameters and stuff I saved, since this stuff really interests me– Hope it paid out.

The comment itself:

E: A note, a disclaimer, formatting and obligatorily, a (few) word(s) =P

Added to the post, thank you!

Also, the real Hero Shot is right here:

@povlur., says that edit yourself, but what section of the .params files i need to edit like Splattershot Jr.?
There's literally a section of the OP that says what internal name leads to what weapon.
Find said weapon your looking for in the parameter files ( in your case the Jr. )
And then open the file with notepad++.

All the steps you need to do are right there in the OP.

Sorry, I don't know very much what means cuz' I'm Spanish, so what section i need to edit?

I never did anything like this, but common sense makes me assume you'd have to go to the lines with the respective parameters (Or, if that's complicated, go to the values/numbers after the things you want to edit, like mInkConsume or whatever it's called) and replace the value with whatever you want to replace them with.

See, it still turned out complicated, so:

–Go to "what you want to edit" (Damage, etc.)

–Replace the old value with the new value

Simple enough, hopefully.

Well anyway it's at their own expense.

Just find the Parameter for your weapon that affects things like map coverage ( I don't know the exact words. )

First, what means "OP"?
And in the guide says "edit whatever you like". I don't understand.
OP- Original Post ( the first post that was made in the thread )

yes, I know the guide says "edit whatever you like." It means to edit whatever values ( of said weapon ) you want to change. In your case, you want to get instant map coverage for a weapon. It's very simple to do.
